We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Habit Coach to join our team at Everyday Independence. As a Habit Coach, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals across all ages and stages of life to achieve greater independence and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Implement therapy plans provided by primary therapists to support participants in achieving their goals.
- Work with participants to develop and maintain healthy habits, such as independent living skills, social engagement, and healthy eating habits.
- Support participants in accessing community resources and services to enhance their quality of life.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for participants.
- Studying a university degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or Physiotherapy (minimum 2nd year) or have completed a Certificate 3 or 4 in Allied Health Assistance or an equivalent qualification.
- Consistent and ongoing availability to work, including flexibility to support participants during afternoon routines.
- Ability to travel to regional and surrounding areas.
- Demonstrated emotional intelligence, empathy, and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working within the disability sector and making a difference in people's lives.
- A valid Australian driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
