Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our team in Melbourne.

The successful candidate will be actively involved in a highly motivated and experienced team of energy professionals working on projects such as owner's engineer, grid connection, and project management roles.

  • Be responsible for the design and development of electrical systems for renewable facilities, including wind, solar, and battery storage facilities.
  • Use project management skills to oversee projects while reviewing and signing off on concept designs for power generation facilities across Victoria.
  • Act as technical leaders for the development of specifications, working with Senior Leadership Team with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical advice and use project management experience to advise on project timelines, schedule, budget, contractor management, and risk management.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The following qualifications and experience are highly desired:

  • Ideally, candidates will have 3+ years' experience as an Electrical Engineer in the renewable energy sector.
  • A relevant degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with knowledge of Australian standards and projects.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
  • Proven knowledge of major power generation technologies and equipment OEMs and plant suppliers.
