Electrical Power Systems Specialist

Job Description:

As an Electrical Power Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing battery energy storage systems that meet the needs of our clients. This includes conceptualizing layouts, creating one-line diagrams, and supporting detailed design through completion of issue for construction design packages. You will also evaluate and analyze energy storage technologies, products, and vendors to support clients with technology and vendor selection and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop battery energy storage systems that meet client needs
  • Evaluate and analyze energy storage technologies, products, and vendors
  • Support clients with technology and vendor selection and implementation
  • Develop and review engineering design plans, technical specifications, cost estimates, and construction documents at various design milestones
  • Support developers, utilities, and other clients with identifying, defining, and implementing use-cases for battery energy storage systems in both centralized and distributed locations
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Strong computer skills using AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI, and Easy Power
  • Previous experience in electrical design of buildings, lighting, power, and systems
