Job Title: Digital Solutions Project Lead

We are seeking an experienced ICT Project Manager to deliver business-critical projects that support trading operations in the renewable energy sector.

The Role

You will take ownership of ICT projects within the Digital Solutions portfolio, working at the intersection of technology and business to ensure project outcomes align with strategic priorities and deliver tangible value. Projects include solutions to manage power purchase agreements (PPAs), data warehouse replacement for the trading function, and analysis engine replacement for gross operating profit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver ICT and business projects on time, within budget, and to agreed outcomes.
  • Manage project planning, governance, financials, risk, and reporting in line with the ICT Delivery Framework.
  • Build strong partnerships with project sponsors, stakeholders, SMEs, suppliers, and senior executives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving accountability.
  • Define and manage procurement activities, contracts, and vendor relationships as required.
  • Ensure change management and business readiness activities enable smooth adoption of project outcomes.

About You

  • A bachelor's degree in IT or a related discipline is essential.
  • Substantial experience as a project manager delivering ICT projects.
  • Strong skills in project scope, planning, budget control, risk management, and reporting.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and iterative delivery approaches.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with executives, users, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the electricity sector or trading of financial instruments or commercial systems is desirable.
