Project Manager

This role involves overseeing IT infrastructure and business application projects to support clinical and remote work environments. It requires managing project teams, stakeholders, and resources to achieve successful project delivery.

A Project Manager will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and reporting on project progress. They must identify and mitigate risks that may impact the project's success and provide effective leadership to the project team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with stakeholders and project teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Use project management tools to plan, monitor, and report on project progress
  • Identify and mitigate risks that may impact the project's success
  • Provide effective leadership to the project team and manage task scheduling and resource allocation
  • Travel within Queensland and interstate for this role
Requirements:
  • Formal qualification in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Information Technology
  • 3-5 years of experience in leading midsize projects
  • Clinical systems related project experience is desirable
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Risk Management, Change Management, and Financial Management methodologies
  • Specialized knowledge of Smartsheet, Jira, and Microsoft Project
  • Desirable: Certification as a Project Management Practitioner and ITIL Foundation Certifications
  • Technical acumen in digital and technology
  • Highly engaging communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
  • Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
  • Strong change management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Demonstrated ability to build an engaged, collaborative, and committed project team
