This role is responsible for developing and delivering training programs to meet the operational needs of our site. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in heavy equipment operation, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

">Key Responsibilities:">
  • ">
  • Deliver high-quality practical training and assessments across site operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and operational requirements.">
  • Coordinate and implement site-specific training initiatives to enhance knowledge sharing and competency development among team members.">
  • Develop and validate Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS), learning resources, and assessment tools to support quality delivery and RTO compliance.">
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of assessments, documents, and procedures to reflect current best practices and operational changes.">
  • Collaborate with operational and safety teams to identify training needs and address skill gaps proactively.">
  • Coach and mentor operators and new employees to foster a culture of safety, development, and competency across site operations.">
">Required Skills and Qualifications:">
  • ">
  • Minimum 5 years' experience operating heavy equipment in a mining or similar high-risk environment.">
  • Hold a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willing to work towards).">
  • Experience working within a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or involvement with RTO processes (highly desirable).">
  • Strong background in fixed plant operations and industry-relevant competencies (highly desirable).">
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver effective training programs that meet operational requirements and regulatory standards.">
