This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality, practical training and assessments across site operations.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive hands-on experience in heavy equipment or fixed plant operations, along with a strong understanding of industry safety standards and RTO compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver practical, face-to-face training and assessments, including Verification of Competency (VOC) for both mobile equipment and fixed plant operations
  • Coordinate, implement, and continuously improve site-specific training to align with operational requirements and regulatory standards
  • Develop, validate, and moderate Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS), learning resources, and assessment tools to ensure quality and compliance with RTO standards
  • Regularly review and update assessments, documents and procedures to reflect current best practices as well as operational changes
  • Conduct internal audits and safety inspections related to training and competency assurance, contributing to continuous improvement in safety and performance
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to developing operators and new employees, fostering a culture of safety, development, and competency across site operations
