Job Opportunity

This role involves overseeing financial control, governance, and compliance across multiple entities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring statutory reporting obligations are met and that all underlying accounting transactions comply with relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage financial control, governance, and compliance strategies.
  • Collaborate with assurance functions to enable effective financial governance.
  • Provide strategic technical financial advice to senior business leaders.
  • Support responses for ICAC, GIPA, and PID compliance.
  • Drive financial policy and process optimization.
  • Develop and implement internal financial control frameworks and policies.
  • Develop and implement systems and processes to support local and international tax compliance.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification and CA or CPA designation with substantial experience in managing financial/statutory accounting functions.
  • Significant experience planning and managing statutory audits.
  • Extensive experience developing and implementing internal financial control frameworks.
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking with the ability to diagnose complex business issues.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
