Lead Transport Engineer

As a Lead Transport Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the transport business. You will lead a high-performing team of engineers, develop local capability, and deliver complex road and highway projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and lead a high-performing transport team, mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  • Deliver major roads and highways projects from concept to detailed design.
  • Leverage your market knowledge and network to grow the business across South Australia.
  • Provide strategic and technical leadership across multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Oversee project operations including quality assurance, risk mitigation, and cost control.
  • Collaborate with clients, government bodies, and stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Strong local industry knowledge and established networks in the South Australian transport sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Proven success in delivering large-scale roads and highways infrastructure projects.
  • Expertise in 12D, AutoCAD, and comprehensive understanding of Austroads and DIT standards.
  • A collaborative, commercially minded professional with a passion for growing a business.
