Job Opportunity:

The Outside of School Hours Care (OSHC) Team Leader position has become available at a school in Melbourne's western suburbs.

Overview of the Role:

This leadership role involves overseeing the day-to-day operation of a small service. The successful applicant will be responsible for program administration, rostering, supervising and assisting casual staff, as well as maintaining cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the service's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
  • Supervise and assist casual staff in running activities
  • Build positive relationships with the school, families, and children
  • Encourage and motivate team members to continuously develop their skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an OSHC Team Leader or similar role
  • Sound working knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
  • First aid qualifications and valid Working With Children Check
  • Diploma in Children's Services, Bachelor of Education, or relevant qualification
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis management certifications
