Job Overview
This is an opportunity to lead a reputable Outside School Hours Care service in Melbourne's eastern suburbs.
The service provides before and after school care for students from Prep to Year 6, promoting a safe and engaging environment.
Your Role
As the Outside School Hours Care Director of Service, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the service. This includes program administration, rostering, supervising and assisting casual staff in running activities and maintaining cleanliness.
You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating the service Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the service in delivering a safe, caring and engaging program for primary aged children.
- Maintain and update the QIP to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
- Oversee program administration, rostering and staff supervision.
Requirements:
The successful applicant will have previous experience as an Outside School Hours Care Director of Service and be able to demonstrate an ability to deliver a safe, caring and engaging program for primary aged children.
A sound working knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, first aid qualifications and a valid Working With Children Check are also required for this position.
