Fibre Installation Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Fibre Installation Professional to join our dynamic team in Brisbane. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for designing and constructing GPON infrastructure across Multi Dwelling and Single Dwelling Units.

The successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and construction of fibre infrastructure
  • Hauling, splicing, testing, and fault finding
  • Rod, Roping and Cable hauling in both Greenfields and Brownfields estates
  • Working in existing live joints
  • Preparation and termination of fibre optic cable joints
  • Daily reporting to Team Leader
  • Imputing of test results, fault finding and photos into company software
  • MDU and Fibre to home experience is an advantage

Requirements:

  • Construction Industry White Card
  • Full Driving License
  • Open Cabling License with Fibre Endorsement
  • Hard-working and strong team work ethic
  • Reliable, Honest and hard working
  • Able to work autonomously and solve problems
  • Ability to interpret cable infrastructure design plans
  • Good time management
  • Willing and able to travel for work as required
  • Working in a team environment
  • Min 3 years' Experience
