Telecommunications Network Specialist

This role involves the delivery of end-to-end installation of telecommunications networks, ensuring customer satisfaction and network integrity.

About the Role

You will work independently to activate and assure telecommunications and technology products and services in residential and commercial settings. You will collaborate with a diverse team to achieve optimal customer and business outcomes.

  • All equipment provided: vehicle, tools, uniform, and more.
  • Performance-based pay: competitive incentives.
  • Work hours: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed.
  • Parental Leave: Gender-equal policy offering 16 weeks full pay or 32 weeks half pay, with superannuation contributions.
  • Training & Learning: Industry-recognised courses and access to 17,000 on-demand programs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver seamless service rectification and product installations, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain and install copper cables, including fault finding, jointing, and networking.
  • Manage fibre network technology, core network technology, and data services.
  • Maintain and install Customer Premises Equipment for both consumer and business clients.
  • Perform fault finding over copper networks, including in rural or remote areas.
Qualifications
  • Certificate I & II in Telecommunications
  • Open cabling license
  • Traffic management qualifications
  • White card (industry safety)
