Job Opportunity: Forestry Asset and Engineering Management

The successful candidate will oversee Qube Ports sites to ensure compliance with client, regulatory, and company responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage workshop staff, facilities, and equipment effectively.
  • Mentor apprentices and certify/training staff members.
  • Support workshop managers with hiring, onboarding, and disciplinary actions processes.
  • Ensure staff competency in fleet software and machinery records management.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and implement workshop support strategies, policies, and systems efficiently.
  • Monitor and report workflows, KPIs, and compliance with NHVR regulations effectively.
  • Install auditing and inspection processes for equipment and tooling.
  • Manage stock levels, stocktakes, and parts consumption records accurately.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and possess strong communication and leadership skills, enabling them to make informed decisions and drive business growth successfully.
