We are partnering with a leading global asset manager to find an experienced Product Development Specialist.

Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annumAbout the Role

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years' Asset Management work experience, including experience within an Investments Product Management role. This is a multi-faceted position that requires strong technical knowledge and expertise related to the management of investment vehicles.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conducting complex product management activities associated with introduction, restructuring, merging and ongoing vehicle management of products, new share classes, or new vehicles
  • Leading cross-functional implementations of product-related activities to ensure stakeholder readiness
  • Conducting advanced research to understand competitive and internal positioning, including fees and expenses
  • Developing ideas for product development, enhancements, and/or expansions based on research and analyses
  • Researching the demands, risks, and regulatory environment of applicable markets to guide product developments
  • Creating materials for review and inclusion in management presentations and product governance meetings
  • Identifying updates to business processes, procedures, and policies related to products and investment vehicles
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant funds management product management experience
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant Asset Management work experience
  • CFA qualified or currently studying
  • Understanding of operational infrastructure related to Australian unit trusts
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong understanding of the investment and regulatory environment in Australia
