About the Opportunity

Plena Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Communication Specialist to join our team of mobile clinicians. As an adult-serving Speech Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work in residential aged care facilities and the local community.

This role offers flexibility and autonomy, allowing you to manage your calendar of appointments and choose work hours that suit you. You will assess and diagnose clients' swallowing and communication difficulties, with potential for national travel to support clients in regional locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing client calendars and delivering high-quality mobile speech pathology services
  • Assessing and diagnosing swallowing and communication difficulties
  • Liaising with the national team of Speech Pathologists and organisational staff
  • Providing consultative and educational support to clients, their families, and colleagues

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a professional qualification in Speech Pathology with an active membership of Speech Pathology Australia. A driver's licence and reliable transport are also essential for national travel.
