We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Communication Specialist to join our team at HealthcareLink in Sydney, NSW.

About the Role

This is a permanent position offering a challenging and rewarding career opportunity for a Speech Pathologist to work with a diverse range of clients, including paediatric and adult cases. As a Clinical Communication Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing communication disorders, designing and implementing low-tech and high-tech communication devices, and developing and reviewing treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders in patients
  • Design and implementation of communication devices to meet individual needs
  • Development and review of treatment plans to ensure effective patient outcomes
  • Collaboration with other healthcare professionals and General Practitioners to provide comprehensive care
  • Education and support for patients, families, and other practitioners
Requirements
  • Degree in Speech Pathology and registration with the Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills, including clear report writing
  • Current Working With Children Check and National Police Check
  • Current driver's license and own vehicle
