Butcher Counter Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Butcher Counter Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service by being approachable and helpful. You will also be responsible for maintaining a good knowledge of products we sell through internal training and having a genuine interest in food and variety of fruit & veg, cheese, meat, seafood, and grocery products.

You will accurately process sales through the register and ensure careful cash handling. Surprise and delight the customers by making sure our delicious products are well stocked and fresh.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, reliability, and flexibility in terms of hours. A positive attitude, high standard of personal presentation, and ability to remain calm under pressure are essential. Additionally, excellent literacy skills to read product labels, computer skills to conduct stocktakes, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
