About the RoleThis exciting opportunity involves working at the workshop facility in Perth, performing onsite repairs, servicing, and maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication equipment. You will have significant involvement in mine shut down work in the Pilbara, earning penalties and an extra daily rate for your efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, repair, maintain, and install hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication equipment to the highest standards.
- Provide estimates, options, and improvements to clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct mine shut down work related to hydraulics and lubrication, adhering to safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Assist and support other trades as required, promoting a collaborative team environment.
- Accurately record and document processes, maintenance, and activities, contributing to the company's knowledge base and continuous improvement.
- Hold a Trade certificate in Mechanical Engineering (Fitting) and/or tertiary training in Fluid Power.
- Possess solid experience working in the hydraulic industry, providing fluid power solutions on industrial and mining equipment.
- Demonstrate good written and oral communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.
- Show the ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Be willing to assist, train, and develop other trade personnel, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and growth.
