We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Service Technicians to join our team at Clark Equipment in Perth.
Estimated Salary$45-$60 per hour
Job DescriptionAs a Heavy Equipment Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, including earthmoving, construction, and material handling machines.
You will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, dismantle and repair engine assemblies, transmissions, and other components, and perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes and lubrications.
In addition, you will test and adjust mechanical parts after repair, diagnose and test parts with the assistance of computers, and may inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve roadworthiness.
You may also respond to vehicle breakdown service calls and provide quality training and development opportunities.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Trade Certificate in Heavy Equipment or similar;
- At least 2 years' experience working in a similar role;
- A valid Australian driver's license;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Experience in hydraulics and electrical circuits.
