Compassionate Care Professional

Our organisation is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Care Service Employee.
- To deliver high-quality care and support to residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
- To work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a seamless service delivery and achieve exceptional outcomes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing personal care and assistance to meet individual residents' needs, ensuring their privacy and dignity are maintained at all times.
- Assisting with medication management, implementing continence programs, and conducting routine checks such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and blood sugar levels.
- Developing and maintaining accurate documentation throughout each shift, and contributing to the development of resident care plans.
- Working under limited supervision, using initiative and problem-solving skills to address any challenges that may arise.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care and current First Aid Certificate.
- An understanding of WHS and infection control principles, and the ability to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Computer literacy and experience with documentation, including electronic medical records and care planning software.
- Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
