Telecommunications Field Technician Trainee

We are seeking an ambitious trainee to join our regional team in Wollongong as a Telecommunications Field Technician.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work in the field assisting customers with internet connectivity, employed on a permanent full-time basis with comprehensive leave entitlements. Throughout the 12-month traineeship, you will work towards gaining a Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology, supported by industry experts to develop your skills and knowledge as a Customer Field Technician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with connecting to the internet in the field
  • Be employed on a permanent full-time basis with all entitlements
  • Complete a Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology over the 12-month traineeship
  • Receive guidance and support from experienced professionals in the field
Requirements

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • An inquisitive and analytical mindset
  • A valid driver's license
  • Familiarity with telecommunications principles
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities
