Senior Project Management Office Coordinator

This is a key role within the Project Management Office (PMO), contributing to effective governance, reporting, and project delivery across the organisation.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Governance & Assurance: Ensure adherence to project governance frameworks, methodologies, and stage gate requirements by providing support and guidance to project teams.
    • Reporting & Insights: Develop and maintain project and program dashboards, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of project status, milestones, risks, and financials.
    • Planning & Scheduling: Assist project teams in creating, validating, and maintaining project plans and schedules, as well as provide expertise on planning tools.
    • Risk & Issue Management: Support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of project risks, as well as the management of issues and assumptions.
    • Tool Administration: Act as an administrator or key user of project tools, including training users and ensuring data integrity.
    • Financial Oversight: Assist in managing project budgets, forecasts, and actuals, working closely with finance to support month-end and business case tracking.
  • Requirements:
    • Minimum 2 years experience in a project coordination or PMO role within a medium-to-large organisation.
    • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, MSP, PMBOK).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and project tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, Power BI, MS Project).
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in supporting cross-functional teams.
