A Senior Control Systems Engineer is sought by our client, a leading Australian engineering consultancy specialising in electrical, instrumentation, and industrial control system solutions. The successful candidate will work across multiple PLCs on water infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement control systems based on project requirements.
  • Create intuitive user interfaces and apply UI/UX design principles to SCADA and HMI development.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth integration of control systems.
  • Conduct testing, diagnose issues, and debug systems to guarantee operational efficiency and reliability.
  • Perform regular maintenance and updates to control systems as required.
  • Provide technical support to clients and internal teams.
  • Stay informed of industry developments and trends to suggest innovative solutions.
  • Travel to sites as needed on an ad-hoc basis.

About the Role:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience with multiple PLC programs, such as Rockwell and Schneider.
  • Experience with SCADA systems, including design and implementation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
