Restaurant Supervisor Job

Elevate your career with a renowned dining destination. We are seeking an experienced Full Time Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our flagship restaurant.

The restaurant is a large dining venue with views of Darling Harbour. Our establishment serves an incredible buffet breakfast and a la carte dinner menu spotlighting modern and native Australian ingredients.

As the Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will play a critical role in our operations by providing support and assistance to the Restaurant Manager. You will lead our team of Hosts and Floor Staff by being actively present throughout busy service periods to ensure all departmental standards and procedures are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the smooth and efficient operation of shifts.
  • Provide regular training and coaching to new and existing team members.
  • Manage booking systems and reservations.
  • Achieve high standards of service and elevate guest satisfaction using metrics to measure success.
  • Competently handle customer queries and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
  • Develop strategies to maximise profitability.
About the Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience leading and coaching a team in a similar role and/or environment.
  • Ability to provide professional and exceptional customer service.
  • Can thrive under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High competency in organisation, multi-tasking and delegation.
  • Excellent presentation and grooming.
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
  • Current RSA and full working rights in Australia, with availability to work on a flexible and rotating roster 7 days a week.
