Job Opportunity

This is a part-time position for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer at a remote medical training centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pastoral care and oversee student support, addressing factors impacting academic progress, triaging and referral to support services as appropriate.
  • Facilitate effective liaison between students and the School, including relationships with student associations, and facilitate access to Student Services and academic support.
  • Advise the National Head of Student Matters on student issues, including requests for transfer or leave, and other matters related to student welfare and fitness to practice.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Level B: Doctoral or masters qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing. Possession of a Medical, Clinical Psychology or other health discipline degree is essential.
  • Proven ability to manage complex personal and professional issues and provide high-quality pastoral care.
  • Experience in teaching at master's level or higher, or in medical, health or professional practice-based education settings is desirable.
