Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (Student Matters Coordinator)

Job Description:

As a Student Matters Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing pastoral care and overseeing student support at our remote medical training campus. You will act as the key liaison between medical students and the School of Medicine to achieve optimal financial, social, and cultural outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality pastoral care and address the different factors impacting students' academic progress.
  • Facilitate effective liaison between students and the School, including relationships with student associations.
  • Advise on student issues, requests for transfer, extended leave, and other matters related to student welfare or fitness to practice.

You will work closely with educational academics, National Head of Student Matters, and Student Matters Coordinators across campuses to provide backup and support.

Qualifications & Skills:

Applicants must possess a degree in Medicine, Clinical Psychology, or a health discipline. Experience in teaching, pastoral care, and complex issue management is essential.

A doctoral or master's qualification is desirable, along with expertise in technology and learning programs.
