Job Description:

At a leading construction company, we're seeking highly motivated machine operators to fill an available position in Sydney.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various machines, ensuring adequate materials are available during each shift, and reporting any defect stock.

The role involves manual handling, heavy lifting, operating machinery, and general warehouse work on a night shift from 10pm-6am.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are physically fit to apply their skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up machines for operation
  • Operate various machines efficiently
  • Ensure machines have adequate materials available for the shift
  • Report any defect stock immediately
  • Maintain a clean workstation at all times
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products
  • Feed raw materials to semi-automated machines
  • Fix issues that occur during the shift promptly
  • Maintain accurate activity logs
  • Follow established production processes
  • Complete batch sheets accurately
Essential Criteria:
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork
  • Physically fit - able to lift 20kgs comfortably
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work overtime when required
  • Able to follow written procedures
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment
  • Hold a valid forklift license
  • Mechanical background is desirable
  • Maintenance background is desirable
