
Senior Analytical Calibration Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability and compliance of our rapid analytical instrumentation.
This is a hands-on leadership role that involves developing calibration programs, troubleshooting technical issues and leading a team to ensure quality and operational excellence.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining calibration programs for rapid analytical instruments
- Leading instrument lifecycle management from procurement and installation through to replacement planning and execution
- Acting as an in-house expert for spectroscopy equipment providing troubleshooting support, technical guidance and mentoring to the team
- Ensuring compliance and quality assurance by driving calibration activities to meet internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements
- Monitoring performance and driving efficiencies by tracking instrument uptime, performance metrics, QC data trends and resolution timing
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, food science, engineering or a closely related field
- Strong knowledge of calibration principles, metrology and relevant quality standards such as ISO 17025
- Demonstrated leadership capability with experience supervising or coordinating small technical teams
- Exceptional attention to detail with a proactive commitment to accuracy, quality and compliance
- Proven track record in calibration and maintenance of analytical instrumentation, particularly infrared spectroscopy
