
Precision Calibration Specialist

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity where you will work in a NATA accredited calibration laboratory. You will carry out hands-on calibration, troubleshooting and maintenance of measurement and test equipment using the appropriate test methods, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and regulatory requirements, whilst providing full support to aircraft maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Appropriate Trade or Engineering qualification
- Relevant Aircraft Maintenance trade experience is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge in tool management processes, tool maintenance and calibration
- Working knowledge of standard office software, spreadsheets and word processing software
- Prior practical calibration experience is desirable but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of staff and as part of a team
- Highly motivated with proven problem solving and analytical skills
- Proven ability to work accurately to tight deadlines as part of a team with minimal supervision
- High degree of flexibility with the ability to meet changing departmental requirements
- Highly developed attention to detail
- Ability to work shift work if required
- Demonstrated high ethical/behaviour standards and self-discipline
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Trade or Engineering qualification
- Aircraft Maintenance trade experience
- Tool management processes
- Office software skills
