Structural Engineering Leadership Role

This leadership position requires a seasoned structural engineering professional with strong industry ties and demonstrated credibility in a design consulting environment. You will lead structural design projects for buildings, including commercial, residential, industrial, and transport sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivery of structural design on significant building projects.
  • Proactive project management, resource allocation, and ensuring design integrity.
  • New business development through client relationships and project work.
  • Technical direction to project teams and promoting awareness of risk mitigation strategies and best value design options.
  • Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams in complex environments.

Essential qualifications include:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading structural design for buildings.
  • Substantial experience using ETABS, RAPT, and SPACEGASS design software.
  • Technical, commercial, and delivery acumen.
  • Leadership skills with influencing, motivating, and delegation abilities.
  • 10–20 years consulting industry experience.
