Structural Engineer role at WSP in Australia.

Our Building Structures group are a specialist team renowned for innovation in structural engineering and BIM project execution across high-rise and complex building structures and infrastructure projects, with offices in every major city across Australia. We operate as a highly autonomous and genuinely national team, offering the opportunity to contribute to local and national buildings projects and to expand your design skills across other market sectors.

What You'll Do
  • Project lead work across the design, tender and delivery phases for multi-year/packaged work for turnkey projects.
  • Ensure timely and quality delivery of project and structural engineering work in compliance with relevant technical, commercial and regulatory standards – and in alignment with schedules and budgets.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting.
About You
  • Bachelor to Masters' level degree (Civil/Structural Engineering).
  • Typically 3-4+ years' industry experience on building projects in the commercial, retail, defence, health or education sectors.
  • Track record of collaborating effectively with colleagues intra/cross-discipline on projects.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency with SPACEGASS, ETABS, RAPT, RAM Concept.
  • Familiarity with BIM, NavisWorks and Revit Structure (advantageous).
  • Previous experience with Rhino and Grasshopper is highly regarded.
