Key Responsibilities:

\
  • Lead supplier selection, development and performance audits.
  • Own category spend analytics, APOP planning and supplier negotiations.
  • Work with regional and global category teams to align and execute sourcing strategies.
  • Manage RFPs, pricing agreements, forecasting, reporting and lifecycle costing.
  • Achieve annual cost reductions via negotiation, benchmarking and localisation.
  • Ensure material flow, mitigate risks and develop alternate sourcing strategies.
  • Build long-term supplier partnerships that drive innovation and sustainability.
  • Leverage digital tools to reduce non-value-added activities in procurement.

Requirements:

\
  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering coupled with previous experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Transformer components and related supply chain requirements.
  • Proven technical skills in relation to Procurement, Buying and Sourcing requirements.
  • Intermediate IT skills, experienced in the use of digital tools and other best practice.
  • Strong data analysis, negotiation and stakeholder relationship management skills.
  • Project management capabilities and demonstrated experience in partnering with both domestic and international stakeholders.
