SalaryWe offer a competitive salary package, including $75,000-$80,000 base pay plus superannuation and half-yearly bonuses.
Job DescriptionAs our new Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing the operation of the kitchen, with accountability for achieving success and driving business growth. This involves:
- Running the pass during busy service times to ensure timely and accurate preparation of dishes.
- Menu planning, inventory management, and food preparation.
- Providing guidance and mentorship to the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
- Creating and managing staff rosters.
- Managing food safety and ensuring adherence to compliance and safety standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience working as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume establishment.
- Ability to lead effective teams and build a positive culture.
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
- Operational experience to achieve financial and business targets.
- Trade Cooking qualifications.
