Hotel Maintenance Leadership Role

As a key member of our hotel team, the successful candidate will lead maintenance operations to ensure optimal facility performance and guest satisfaction.

This leadership position requires a proactive approach to equipment maintenance, ensuring all necessary repairs and replacements are completed on schedule to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.

">Responsibilities:
  • Lead Hotel Maintenance Team
  • Coordinate routine inspections, repairs, and installations of hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
  • Oversee procurement of hotel equipment and machinery, ensuring timely installation and functionality
  • Implement preventative maintenance strategies to minimize equipment failures and downtime
  • Recruit, train, and develop a skilled maintenance team to deliver exceptional service
  • Manage daily maintenance needs, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in general building maintenance or construction
  • Professional certification and license (if required by law)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency
  • Fluency in English, with additional languages an advantage
  • Full working rights in Australia without restrictions
