
Senior Patient Care Specialist

The staff RN provides quality patient care based on the plan of care, exercises judgment in delegating aspects of patient care, and participates in professional development to enhance patient-focused nursing practice.
- Develops and implements a timely, comprehensive assessment using appropriate techniques for data collection, analysis, interpretation, and documentation.
- Collaborates with other team members to develop, implement, document, and evaluate the plan of care.
- Observes and reports patient progress and changes in patient status to the physician and documents in the medical record.
Hospital Policies
The staff RN adheres to organization-wide policies and procedures, performs within the prescribed limits of the hospital's Ethics, Compliance, and Confidentiality Program guidelines, and operates within their professional scope of practice at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited college, university, or school of nursing.
- Current license or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
- Stroke in-service annually.
- CPR (BLS).
- NIH Stroke Certification within 90 days from date of hire.
