Senior Nurse Aged Care Specialist

Melbourne, Australia

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to elderly residents in aged care facilities.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering individualized care plans, administering medications, and conducting regular health assessments.

A current AHPRA registration and previous experience in aged care or similar settings are essential requirements for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver high-quality nursing care to elderly residents in accordance with their individual care plans.
  2. Administer medications & treatments as prescribed.
  3. Conduct regular health assessments and monitor residents' conditions.
  4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care delivery.
  5. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  2. 6+ months previous experience in aged care or similar settings.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
  5. Compassionate, patient, and committed to delivering high-quality care.
