The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience working with children under the age of 2, as well as expertise in mentoring and supervising clinicians. They should be well-versed in evidence-based practice and family-centred care.
- Work closely with senior mentors and national discipline leaders to drive clinical excellence and expand access to quality care nationwide.
- Contribute to high-performing teams spanning multiple states, collaborating across disciplines to drive therapy innovations.
- Play a key role in promoting evidence-based practice and fostering a culture of learning and growth within the organisation.
- Provide expert consultation in paediatric occupational therapy for complex cases, championing multidisciplinary teamwork and collaboration.
- Deliver comprehensive supervision, mentoring and group learning to early-career and senior OTs, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer.
- Support therapists with goal setting, evidence-based practice, and family-centred care, promoting a patient-centric approach.
- Collaborate across disciplines to drive holistic outcomes for children and families, breaking down barriers to quality care.
- Develop and implement education programs to enhance clients', caregivers', and support workers' understanding of occupational therapy interventions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Oversee clinical targets relevant to your clinic, contributing to meaningful improvements in patient outcomes.
- Contribute to the implementation of paediatric practice frameworks, protocols, and specialist services, including sensory integration and feeding clinics.
- Engage in internal upskilling initiatives and national mentoring programs, driving professional development and growth.
- Participate in research projects, evaluation initiatives, or service design projects within the paediatric team.
- Represent occupational therapy interests in clinical governance discussions, supporting continuous quality improvement.
- Stay informed about the latest research, best practices, and regulatory changes within the NDIS and Community sectors.
- Engage actively in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.

- A degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent).
- Minimum five years' experience in occupational therapy, including at least three years' experience working with children under the age of 2.
- Current APHRA registration.

- Experience in mentoring or supervising clinicians.
