Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist Role
About the Position:We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist with a passion for paediatric care and community health. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, family-centred care to children and young people aged 0-12 years, while also contributing to service development, quality improvement and supervising junior Occupational Therapists.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in paediatrics, proven leadership capabilities, and a flexible, reliable approach to care. They will be working in a supportive multidisciplinary environment where their ability to collaborate, innovate, and advocate for clients will be highly valued.

Main Responsibilities:- Deliver safe, timely, compassionate and high-quality person-centred care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Lead and support the development of occupational therapy services, including service planning, quality improvement and education.
- Supervise and mentor junior Occupational Therapists to ensure competency in their practice.
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement and policy development within the organisation.
- A recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer, with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Experience in providing advanced, person-centred paediatric occupational therapy care in a healthcare setting.
- Proven leadership capabilities and experience in supervising junior Occupational Therapists.
- An Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
