Facilities Manager

The Supervisor – Pools, Facilities & Contract Management role is crucial in overseeing the safe and efficient operation of aquatic and health facilities within the Shire.
This includes supervising the delivery of high-quality aquatic services, managing contracts and service providers, and ensuring operational standards are consistently met across the region.
As a strong leader, you will be responsible for contributing to long-term planning, policy development, and the enhancement of aquatic facilities to meet the evolving needs of the community.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the management of all Council-owned aquatic and health facilities.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and community-focused aquatic services.
- Manage contracts and service providers effectively.
- Ensure operational standards are consistently met across the Shire.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with staff, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain compliance with safety regulations and drive service improvements.
Our ideal candidate is a proactive and people-focused individual who can build strong relationships with staff, contractors, and the community, and ensure our aquatic services are welcoming, safe, and sustainable.
Key Qualifications: Strong leadership skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience in facility management or a related field.
