This role supports clinicians in providing culturally safe and appropriate healthcare for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with kidney disease and those requiring dialysis.
The position will involve working across the renal service under the guidance and support of a clinical nurse and registered nurse, primarily based in Doomadgee.
- It is essential that the person holding this position be an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person.
Supporting clinicians to provide culturally safe and appropriate healthcare for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with kidney disease and those requiring dialysis.
Working across the renal service under the guidance and support of a clinical nurse and registered nurse.
- Primarily based in Doomadgee.
- Travel to various facilities or units within the Northwest Hospital and Health Service.
Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander status.
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant.
- Isolation bonus.
