  5. Prepare budgets, tender submissions, and variation estimates considering modular construction timelines and logistics.
  6. Monitor and update cost databases, including modular-specific materials, prefabrication costs, and transport logistics.
  7. Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering and process optimization specific to modular construction.
  8. Assess and manage risks related to modular building, such as transport, cranage, and site assembly.
  9. Ensure adherence to building codes, modular standards, and client specifications.
  10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating systems and processes tailored to modular home construction.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Minimum 5 years estimating experience in the home building industry.
  2. Previous experience in estimating within the modular construction industry is highly advantageous.
  3. Proven time management and organizational skills.
  4. Experience with advanced estimating software.
  5. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  6. Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel.
  7. Ability to learn new systems and software quickly.
