We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities, as well as supervising and coordinating kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities include ensuring consistency and presentation of dishes meet quality standards, maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen according to food safety and sanitation standards, training and mentoring junior kitchen staff, and assisting with the creation of new menu items and seasonal specials.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen, formal culinary training or relevant certifications preferred, and in-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential for this position, as is the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality are also required.
