We're looking for an experienced Contract Compliance Professional to join our Transport team in Australia.

This role will be responsible for managing strategic partnerships with transport subcontractors, ensuring they comply with all requirements prior to engagement.

You will develop and regularly review company policies, procedures, and systems to guarantee operational guidelines are up-to-date, effective, and aligned with current laws and industry standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the onboarding of transport subcontractors to ensure compliance with all requirements
  • Developing and reviewing company policies, procedures, and systems to guarantee operational guidelines are up-to-date
  • Serving as the primary contact internally and externally for all transport subcontractor engagements by DP World
  • Completing compliance audits required for DP World transport subcontractors
  • Investigating non-conformance records and managing resolution
  • Leading regular reviews of subcontractor safety, service, and financial performance

As a successful candidate, you will possess:

  • 5-10 years' experience in a transport-related role with a strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility and contractor management
  • Completed road compliance audits covering all regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of NHVAS, HVNL, and other transport legislations
  • Experience engaging external contractors in a transport operation
  • Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels and build relationships with internal and external parties
  • Proven problem-solving skills

The estimated salary for this role is around $100,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
