As an Industry Analyst, you will contribute to our company's mission of helping clients make better business decisions.

You will be responsible for collecting, interpreting and analysing macroeconomic, demographic and industry-specific data to identify and clearly communicate key business trends.

  • Long-term forecasting based on existing industry data
  • Updating high-quality industry reports within specified deadlines and in accordance with in-house editorial and quality standards
  • Qualitative research, keeping up-to-date with key macroeconomic and industry trends
  • Performing client presentations
  • Contributing to product development initiatives
  • Giving interviews to journalists about your assigned industries as required
">As a Successful Candidate, You Will Have">
  • An undergraduate degree in economics, commerce, business or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to analyse and forecast economic data, demonstrated through either previous work experience or university studies
  • Familiarity with online research techniques
  • A solid grasp of economics, financial terms and business concepts
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A strong interest in keeping up-to-date with economic news and current events
  • Confidence to liaise with the media regarding current industry trends
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience writing business research articles, reports or other key documents for a business audience is an advantage

Salary: $60,000-$70,000 p.a.
