Hydrogeology Specialist Role

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of the mine by providing expert technical advice on mine and rehabilitation activities, ensuring site safety and stability.

  • Leads routine monitoring and analysis, including groundwater routines, weight balance analysis, and data management.
  • Scopes and coordinates drilling activities and technical studies contributing to mine infrastructure rehabilitation and regulatory processes.
Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Tertiary degree in Hydrogeology, Engineering, Geology or a relevant discipline.
  • Proven expertise in hydrogeology within a mining context, with a strong grasp of groundwater systems and geotechnical interactions.
  • In-depth technical understanding of mining operations specific to the Latrobe Valley.
