Job Title: Groundwater Expert

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Groundwater Expert to join our team. As a key member of our Water Resources Team, you will be responsible for designing and executing fieldwork programs, analyzing data, and developing conceptual models of groundwater flow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute fieldwork programs, including drilling supervision, geotechnical logging, soil testing, and groundwater monitoring.
  • Analyze and interpret data from various sources, including geological and hydrological studies.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date conceptual models of groundwater flow and transport.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Science, Hydrology, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Hydrogeology are highly desirable.
  • At least 2 years of direct consulting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of GIS and spatial analysis techniques.
  • Experience with numerical modeling software, such as MODFLOW and SEEP/W.
  • Ability to collect and analyze large datasets, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Familiarity with Leapfrog and other 3D volumetric modeling software is highly desirable.
