About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) principles and practices. You will work collaboratively with our team to reduce the frequency and severity of behaviours of concern while empowering individuals to thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Process Management: Develop and implement effective processes to ensure high-quality SBS services are delivered.
- Quality Control: Monitor and evaluate the quality of SBS services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Capacity Building: Provide training and support to staff to develop their skills and knowledge in PBS and SBS.
- Client Allocation: Coordinate the allocation of staff to clients and external partners, ensuring that services are delivered in a timely and effective manner.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the SBS team, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., psychology, social work, occupational therapy, applied behaviour analysis, disability, health).
- Registration as a Proficient to Advanced Practitioner under the NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework.
- Previous experience working in a disability-related field, preferably in a leadership or management role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
