Administrative Support Specialist

About the Role
The Senior Administration Officer will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. This role requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle a variety of tasks with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-level administrative support to the State Manager and Senior Leadership, including managing correspondence and maintaining filing systems
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Prepare and edit documents, comprehensive reports, and presentations with accuracy
- Be responsible for preparing meeting agendas and minute-taking
- Be proficient in Microsoft Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Provide office support to team members and other departments as required
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the State Manager and senior leadership as required
- Monitor and update compliance-related documentation, ensuring accurate records are available for audits
- Assist with data entry, record keeping, and other ad-hoc tasks
- Draft and distribute communication materials on behalf of the QLD State Manager and Senior Leadership team
- Understanding of the not-for-profit sector and a passion for the Alzheimer's Association's mission
