Practice Manager

We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join our team at St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba on a casual basis, supporting a new Cardiology Practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide efficient and effective management of the specialist medical practice, including achieving financial and quality indicators.
- Manage small business/office operations, including human resources, planning, and budgeting.
- Administer practice software packages, including billings, bookings, and medical administration functions.
- Prepare medical correspondence and maintain knowledge of medical terminology.
- Manage practice staff and oversee the delivery of administration services to patients and their families.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years previous experience as a Practice Manager or similar position.
- Ability to work on a casual basis.
- Proven ability to manage small business/office operations.
- Broad-based administrative experience with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage practice software packages.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and preparing medical correspondence.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to maintain collaborative and effective relationships with multidisciplinary team members.
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to remain focused in a busy environment.
- Self-motivated and well-organised, with the ability to work unsupervised and oversee the management of other Practice staff.
